So, I got a Nintendo DS a little while ago. I got a few games which I'm enjoying very much (
whee! Lego Star Wars: the Complete Saga is awesome!). But there's this one game that I've gotten fucking addicted to...
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. I have no idea WHY it is so addicting, but it is. You do your fantasy-questing-fighting-zombies-learni
ng-magic business, becoming a knight-wizard-warrior person, but you fight the battles by doing gem-swapping puzzles. My problem is that I've reached the first Boss and he's a fucking annoyingly unbeatable bastard and it's driving me
crazy. I've played the round, like, 80 times and I CANNOT win! I've even looked him up on VG forums and apparently he's the most difficult Boss to beat in the game. I mean, WTF? Why would you put the hardest one first?
Anyway, his name is Dugog and he's a 2-headed Ogre. Anytime he so much as sneezes, he gets about 30 extra turns. I move once, he moves 20-hundred-thousand times, collects ALL the goddamn mana, slices my health points down to El Zippo... and then I get to move again. And then I die. Oh joy.
The game was fun and really not that difficult until him. Now I want to chuck the DS out the window. I may not be the world's foremost authority on gem-swapping, but I don't deserve this.
I hate you, Dugog.
