Ahem. Anyhow, I decided to do the 30 Days of Sharing meme, mostly out of boredom, but also because I never post everyday and I thought I'd give it a try and see if I could. So, here we go.

Day 01 = My favourite song.

Hmmmmm. I've got a couple. Only the Good Die Young by Billy Joel, Let It Be by the Beatles, It's My Life by Bon Jovi, and For Good from Wicked immediately come to mind, so I'm going to go with them. And, for the record, the Glee mash-up of It's My Life and Confessions from the episode Vitamin D was epic and highly recommended. ^___^

Okay, has anyone else heard about this travesty?



I mean, I feel like someone just came along and raped my childhood. *shudder* Also, for the love of God, get your facts straight, Hollywood! 1) Karate is Japanese, not Chinese, so the fact that they're in China makes no sense. 2) KARATE AND KUNG FU ARE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FUCKING THINGS!!! You can't call a movie "The Karate Kid" and have him learn no karate. Again, that makes NO SENSE!!! I am SO boycotting this shit.

On a short additional note: I have been very sick and it's been deeply unpleasant. *pout*

Glee is officially one of my new favourite shows.

And, as I'm sure comes as no surprise to anyone who has ever met me, Kurt is my favourite character. Because he is awesome.

So, I watched both parts of End of Time a couple days ago. I've gotta say, I really, really love and adore John Simm, but I wasn't a huge fan of the Master's evil plot this time. The storyline itself was... I dunno. Definitely not my favourite one ever. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against RTD since Children of Earth, I dunno, but I didn't really like the story itself of End of Time.

So, yes. I beat Dugog. That is all.

So, I got a Nintendo DS a little while ago. I got a few games which I'm enjoying very much (whee! Lego Star Wars: the Complete Saga is awesome!). But there's this one game that I've gotten fucking addicted to...

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. I have no idea WHY it is so addicting, but it is. You do your fantasy-questing-fighting-zombies-learning-magic business, becoming a knight-wizard-warrior person, but you fight the battles by doing gem-swapping puzzles. My problem is that I've reached the first Boss and he's a fucking annoyingly unbeatable bastard and it's driving me crazy. I've played the round, like, 80 times and I CANNOT win! I've even looked him up on VG forums and apparently he's the most difficult Boss to beat in the game. I mean, WTF? Why would you put the hardest one first?

Anyway, his name is Dugog and he's a 2-headed Ogre. Anytime he so much as sneezes, he gets about 30 extra turns. I move once, he moves 20-hundred-thousand times, collects ALL the goddamn mana, slices my health points down to El Zippo... and then I get to move again. And then I die. Oh joy.

The game was fun and really not that difficult until him. Now I want to chuck the DS out the window. I may not be the world's foremost authority on gem-swapping, but I don't deserve this.

I hate you, Dugog.

We've reached the end of Day Five. The goal-to-date is 8333. I haven't quite gotten there. I'm doing okay. Not great, but not horrifically, either. So I guess that's something, at least.
