I know that people are already making fun of the new costume, but I'm willing to give it a chance. I'm thinking it'll grow on us. Anyhow: Huzzah!

A very happy Victoria Day to all my fellow Canadians out there. And yes, for the record, I DO think that watching the Doctor Who episode "Tooth and Claw" counts as a viable way to celebrate the day.

If you haven't seen this, definitely watch it. Gives you a good sense of what Matt Smith is like if, like me, you had never heard of him before he was announced as the next Doctor.



I will never love another Doctor the way I love David Tennant. That's just the way it is. But... I suppose I can admit that this one has a certain appeal of his own. Plus, he's got Steven Moffat heading him up. I think you'd have to be making an effort in order to be bad with Steven Moffat working with you. Also, I'm just loving this guy's hair--really, really hope they don't cut it.

Okay, so, I've spent the past few days watching Doctor Who. I just finished series 2 earlier today and I wanted to take this opportunity to say that I don't think that there will ever come a day when the last ten minutes of Doomsday doesn't make me bawl my eyes out. Just... yeah.
